Pizza Fan is recognized as the leading pizza delivery company in Greece and is currently seeking for a smart and enthusiastic Mid-Level PHP Developer, to join our Software Development Team.

You will be building high-quality, innovative and fully performing software and REST APIs, in the context of a supportive and career enhancing environment. You will also be contributing to a variety of components that make up the core business platform.

Basic Requirements

To be considered, you should have:

• 3+ years of experience writing production code using PHP
• Demonstrable knowledge in Object Oriented PHP programming and MVC patterns
• Active involvement with relational databases (e.g. MySQL)
• Experience with front-end languages and libraries (e.g. JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5/CSS3)
• Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel and Lumen
• Familiarity with design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Strategy etc.)
• Solid understanding of HTTP and RESTful design

Good to have

• Master’s degree will be considered
• Experience with Redis or other distributed key-value store systems
• Practical use of source control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
• Experience in Bash and GNU/Linux
• Experience in modern JS framework(s) e.g. Vue, React, Angular
• Experience using Docker to deliver software services into production environments
• Experience in Kubernetes or another container-based operational environment
